I've said it before and I'll continue to say it: laws do not in and of themselves prevent crime. The merely codify what society has determined to be wrong behavior and (theoretically) assign sanctions (penalties ie jail time and/or fines etc) for violations. But if the good people do not enforce those laws...................

I do not consider myself good or evil. Only human. "Laws" are created to give control to governments. Not to protect people. "Doing right" is in the heart, not the rule book. If one is set on doing evil no rule can stop them. If they are set on doing good no law is needed.---Ray
