Update From Canada...

Snatched this one from Odie ;-)

CURRENCY NEWS FROM CANADA

The Royal Canadian Mint has just announced they are going to remove
the polar bear from the $2 coin in view of its demise due to global warming.

At the height of political correctness, they will replace it with 2 gay deer.

The coin will now be called “2 fuckin’ bucks"!

Peek~a~Moose

Busy busy week getting a bunch of loose ends tied up. Went up river to my daughter's apartment, like three times. Came back to home base to work on a carving I'm doing for a friend. Went down river to my woodlot and got a few more plants settled in. I suppose I should let y'all know I'm going on another road trip real soon. I am very much looking forward to it. Come to think of it, I never did share those pics of my last one back in April, like I said I would... Bad MissK, Bad!

Ahh.... Spring is in the Air

Damn it!!!

Well it's not that bad, although we did get close to a foot over the weekend.
I really thought spring was here :( Dare I say it? For the fifth time now...
This was the last storm!!!! I better be right this time :P

Roll up the Rim ~ Come and Gone

My fellow Canadians know all too well
about this dilemma.

I would get my coffee thinking...
"This one's a car :-)" or better yet...
"A shitload of money!!! :D"
But nope :(

They should save some ink and write "Sorry" instead :P
Comme vraiment là?!! Trois cafés p'un beigne... Grrrr

Then there's the BONUS RIM ??

Finally! Light @ The End of The Tunnel

Above freezing? Really? I must be dreaming. I'm not sure what to make of it, all this dripping water and the need to take off layers of clothes in the spur of the moment. One thing is certain though, this is definitely a glimmer of hope that spring really does exist.

The sun is shinning outside and I have to take it in. I'm heading back out in a few for an extra dose of Vitamin D. This damn cabin fever has gone on long enough.

I've been busy moving snow all morning, slicing a trench in boob height, really dense snow drifts to gain access to the storage cabin in the back of the lot. The lady next door is moving out, and she needed to get her shit out, asap. So I volunteered to take care of it. What I wouldn't do for a body rub right now. I will be stiff in the morning, that's for sure. Now, I'm all done with the trench, and gave her a hand lugging the bins to her car. I should stay in and relax, but I can't help myself, I have to go back.... it's sunny!! And warm!! ;-)

warm you up with tropical waves... ;-)

The Perks of Canadian Weather

...and apartment living :/
When you, and all the neighbors have been shoveling since the wee hours, yet everyone is still buried under piles of snow. And of course, the plow has us last on the list. Fun times. Someday, soon I hope, I'll be relocating to a much warmer place ;-)

So Quit Naggin' :P

Now that you've read that properly, I'd like to add...

Of coarse, I do slip hear and their, boat ways. I've been known
two nag too or tree bloggers in particular, about there accidental blunders. End on the flipside, I make lots of typing mishaps to. After all, French is my native tongue. Nobody's perfect, eh.
Butt sum people take it way to far ;-)

I Blinked...

The days seem to be going by so fast lately.
It's a double edged sword...

We had our first winter storm over the weekend.... fall is no more :(  Reminded me that I'm missing a few Canadian basics, some of which got lost in "Transition". Warm gloves and an ice breaker are a definite must. Perhaps a little compensation for going cold turkey on the wood chopping ;-)

Good Morning :)

This is what the trees look like in these parts.
Minus the nekkid ones, still too early for those...
I would love to get lost in there ;-)

Look Harder...

...You might find a Toonie ;-)
Or maybe even a "Nickel" o_O
(to Whom it may concern)
